Just good Grub

Just good grub alongside The food house have a range of healthy, freshly made & ready to eat meals.

Just Good Grub

In January 2020, with plans to open their first sit-in Delicatessen in Banbridge, Just Good Grub was ready to take the leap into Social Media to promote its freshly made meals. The goal was to build an engaged community and increase awareness of new products & stockists. For JustGoodGrub, deciding to increase its Social Media presence came at exactly the right time, with hospitality restrictions coming into force in March 2020. The focus to ensure continued growth in sales quickly turned to Social Media.

The Strategy

The strategy that we put in place for Just Good Grub was mainly about growth as we wanted to grow awareness of JustGoodGrub meals in local retail stores and its Delicatessen in WIN Business Park, Newry. To Promote a click-and-collect and delivery service to current and new customers. We also wanted to grow an online audience with Facebook Ads and competitions and increase awareness of retail stockists and new product launches.

The Results

The results of the market strategy were brilliant as we grew their Facebook followers from 5,000 to 11,000. The Instagram followers went from 500 to 3,500. Their online reviews increased with more and more customers telling us how good the food was. As the business grew so did the need for more employees as the amount of employees grew from 10 to 60 in just 18 months. And with the increased sales it enabled the opening of TheFoodMarket in May 2021.

"Social Media has enabled us to grow our business from a team of 10 employees to 60 in just 18 months. As our online Social Media following grew, we benefited from growth in retail sales as more local shoppers turned to local food options and delis throughout the pandemic". “This success has given us the confidence to push ahead with the opening of The Food Market in 2021.” a new and larger urban delicatessen in Newry",
